Angelique sighed. She gripped her round plastic tray tighter and leaned against the bar counter. It was hot outside, with barely a breeze blowing by. The restaurant, despite having the air conditioner grumbling at full speed, was stuffy and hot. She pulled at the collar of her uniform and let her gaze cross the room in one lazy sweep.
There was barely any customers, and all of them had been served already. She eyed the front door with an irritated look, she wished somebody would just walk in already...
