~Y.O.U.R. .C.H.A.R.A.C.T.E.R~ Name: Angelique Petit
Age: 16
Gender: Girl
Hometown: Victoria, Seychelles
Personality:Typically a bright, bubbly and big hearted girl. Angelique is also messy, quite the slob and a little on the clumsy side. She is very open with her feelings, and tries to put on a cheerful exterior for her family and friends. Angelique is a hard worker, when given the right motivation. She can be very whiny, but knows when to suck up, and is actually quite a good observer. She's a dreamer, and often walks around in a half-daze, which contributes to her clumsiness. She enjoys dressing up, splashing in the ocean, anything beach related and food. She absolutely adores seafood and misses her home country dearly.
Appearance: With smooth, olive-toned skin, bright hazel eyes and thick locks of curly dark hair, Angelique holds a childish sort of cuteness. She is slim in her build, with an average sized bust and fragile-looking bones. She has a round face with soft, chubby cheeks, a petite nose and full lips. She dresses fairly well when going out with friends, and always has her hair tied into two, loose and low-lying pig tails.
Occupation: Waitress, studying in Grade 11.
Experience: Only other experience is helping out in Grandfather's local coffeeshop, otherwise she is a junior.
Reason for joining: Her family is currently struggling with money, so she's joining to scrape in some extra cash.
History: Her family emigrated out of Seychelles when she was ten. They couldn't upkeep the high cost of living in that country, and had been hoping to find a better life. Things went well for a while, but when her last living grandparent fell deathly ill, the family had to take him under their wing. Soon, all their savings and money were drained.
Her grandfather had passed away just recently, leaving the family deep in debt. They aren't on the verge of being homeless right now, but paying for university or college seem like a faraway fantasy.
RP sample:Angelique pushed the rusted key into the hole and turned. There was a sound of grinding metal, but the door refused to budge. She raised a brow, hiked up her bag and gave a rough shove to the door. It flew open and the girl nearly fell as she stumbled in.
The apartment was empty, of course. Both her parents were at their second shift, leaving her a little note of love she knew would be stuck on the fridge. She smiled a little, kicking off her school shoes and shutting the door behind her. She half-walked, half-slid across the smooth laminate floor and stopped by the fridge. A little, used, Post-it note was stuck on the freezer door, it's ends curled up tightly. A quick 'Love you Angel. Your favorite pasta for dinner tonight.' was written in pencil.
A small smile graced her lips as Angelique opened the fridge door and grabbed the plate of spaghetti. Her family might be poor, but she was grateful for how loving they were.
